Who we are
bedbuns is a United States-based creator brand sharing the lives of Frodo and Missy. This policy explains how bedbuns ("we," "us," or "our") handles information through this website and related inquiries. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@bedbuns.com.
Information we collect and why
Information you provide. When you use our contact or collaboration form, we collect your name, email address, and message or collaboration idea. You may also choose to provide your brand or company, website or social link, timing, and budget range. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you include. We use this information to respond, evaluate and manage collaborations, and keep related correspondence. Please do not include payment card details or sensitive personal information in your message.
Website operation and security. Our website and service providers process technical information needed to deliver pages, protect forms, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. This can include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. Form submissions store a protected hash derived from your IP address for abuse prevention, rather than the raw IP address in the form record. Hosting and security systems may process the raw address separately.
Aggregate traffic counts. We count page views by date and page path, and record the referring website's domain when available. These aggregate records do not contain visitor identifiers, raw IP addresses, or full referring URLs, and do not use analytics cookies. These counts continue if you reject optional analytics.
We currently do not offer a newsletter, use advertising pixels, or run personalized advertising on this website. Our product pages link to other retailers; we do not take payment or operate a checkout here.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses cookies or similar storage for necessary functions such as sessions, form security, and remembering privacy choices. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent forms or other features from working.
We remember your analytics choice in your browser's local storage and treat that choice as valid for 180 days. Clearing browser storage, changing browsers or devices, or expiration may cause us to ask again. Expired local-storage records are replaced or removed when you return; they do not automatically disappear while you are away.
Optional Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions and improve the website. Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics leaves it unloaded on subsequent page loads.
If you accept, Google may receive information such as pages and URLs visited, referrers, interactions and their times, browser and device details, cookie identifiers, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google processes IP addresses when providing the service; we do not describe this collection as anonymous. Our website integration disables Google signals and advertising personalization and requests a 180-day analytics cookie lifetime, which may renew with activity. The browser's cookie lifetime is separate from how long Google retains analytics records.
Use Privacy settings on the website to change your choice. Rejecting analytics after previously accepting updates consent, attempts to remove this website's analytics cookies, and reloads the page without loading Analytics. Withdrawal does not erase information already collected. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on in supported browsers.

Google Fonts and form protection
Google Fonts. We load fonts from Google so the site displays its typography. Your browser connects to Google's servers and sends technical request information, including your IP address, browser information, and potentially the referring page. Font requests happen when pages load, independently of optional analytics consent. See Google Fonts information and Google's Privacy Policy.
reCAPTCHA. We use Google's reCAPTCHA service on forms to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. It processes browser, device, and interaction signals and may use cookies or similar technology. Our server also sends Google your IP address, browser user-agent, and a verification token when checking a submission. This security service operates independently of optional analytics consent. See Google's reCAPTCHA privacy information. You can email us instead of using the form.
Who receives information
We use providers that support website hosting and infrastructure, storage, security, and email delivery. They process information needed to provide those services. Form details may be stored in our website administration system and delivered to us by email. Google receives information for the services described above, subject to your analytics choice where applicable.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or lawful requests, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. If you ask us to share information with someone, we may do so to carry out your request.
We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Earning a commission from an affiliate link is separate from those activities.
Affiliate links and social websites
Some product links may be affiliate links. After you follow a link, a retailer or affiliate network may use cookies, referral identifiers, and information about your activity to attribute purchases and commissions. Their own privacy policies apply. We may receive referral or commission reports, depending on the program. See our affiliate disclosure.
Our Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other external links take you to services operated by others. They may collect information about your activity across websites and over time, particularly if you are signed in. Our video players load content from Instagram or TikTok only after you choose to play a video. Once loaded, the provider receives information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or connect your activity to an account you are signed in to. We do not control those services or their privacy settings. Review their policies before providing information or buying products.
How long we keep information
Website form records are scheduled for deletion after 365 days, unless placed on a legal hold. Deletion is performed by the site's scheduled retention process. Copies in email, backups, and collaboration records have separate lifecycles; deleting a form record does not automatically delete those copies. We keep correspondence and related records for as long as reasonably needed to handle an inquiry or collaboration, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes, and delete information when it is no longer needed.
Aggregate website traffic counts are kept for 730 days before scheduled deletion. Security and operational records are retained according to their purpose and the relevant provider's retention arrangements. Google Analytics records are retained according to our Analytics property’s configured retention settings, separately from the 180-day browser cookie lifetime.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may choose not to submit a form, leave optional fields blank, contact us by email, and reject optional analytics without losing access to the website. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided, email hello@bedbuns.com. Include enough information for us to locate the relevant inquiry; please do not send government identification or sensitive documents unless we explain why they are needed.
Depending on the privacy laws that apply to you and to bedbuns, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a regulator. Where applicable, California residents may exercise rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale or sharing, without unlawful discrimination. These statutory rights are subject to the law's applicability and exceptions. We will assess requests under the applicable requirements, verify identity when needed, and explain if we cannot fulfill a request. An authorized agent may contact us with evidence of authorization where permitted by law.
California Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not change website behavior in response to the older browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal. A recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal keeps optional analytics off, including when an earlier choice allowed it. Necessary operations, aggregate counts, font delivery, and form security continue. Your choices on this website do not control tracking on retailers' or social platforms' websites.
Security and international processing
We use safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls and encryption of stored form content. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
We are based in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. We will use safeguards required by applicable law for relevant transfers.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and for collaboration inquiries, not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact hello@bedbuns.com so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We will post updates on this page and change the effective date above. For material changes, we will also provide a prominent notice on the website and obtain new consent where required before applying the change. Please review this page when deciding whether to provide information or allow optional analytics.
